Ahmed Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Virginia. He holds a PhD from the University of Kentucky and two M.Sc. Degrees. Ahmed also has a Certificate in College Teaching and Learning and is actively participating in teaching excellence programs. He currently teaches Network Security and is actively developing hands-on cybersecurity classroom exercises. He recently offered a workshop on “SSL/TLS Session Hijacking and DNS Spoofing” for the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu and in the BSidesSWVA 2018 conference. In addition, Ahmed published several papers in IEEE conferences, is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and has attended several technical workshops on hacking techniques during the Blackhat, Defcon, and BSides conferences.
